The Board of Management at APIIT Lanka oversees corporate governance, setting strategies, policies, quality standards and objectives. It directs operations, ensures effective management, while monitoring activities to align with the institute’s vision, mission, principles, objectives and core values.
Bandula Egodage has extensive experience across both the private and public sectors in Sri Lanka, having held senior management and board-level positions in a diverse range of organizations.
He currently serves as the Chairman of Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) Sri Lanka and Commercial Credit and Finance PLC. He is also an Executive Member of the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a Director of Suwasevana Hospitals, and a member of the Sri Lanka–Maldives Business Council, Swiss Business Circle, and Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID). In addition, he serves as a member of the Advisory Committee on Education of the Export Development Board.
He is a seasoned professional with 40 years of experience in both local and international business markets. During his tenure as Vice President – Corporate and Regulatory Affairs at Nestlé Lanka Limited, he has exceled his career in Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Corporate Communications, and Crisis Management.
He has previously served as Chairman of the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka, the Industrial Association of Sri Lanka, the National Packaging Centre, and Development Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. He has also held directorships at Trade Finance PLC, the National Gem and Jewellery Authority of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Coconut Cultivation Board, and the Coconut Research Institute.
He has also led numerous trade delegations, including presidential trade delegations representing Sri Lanka, and has regularly participated as a panellist at international trade forums:

₋ Member of the Sri Lankan Ministerial Commerce Delegation to Vietnam, China, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland and India
