Shalindi Gallage is an accomplished academic with an LLM in International Business Law from Staffordshire University, where she earned a first-class distinction. She is a double degree holder, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, achieving a Qualified Law Degree (QLD), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a specialization in International Studies from the University of Kelaniya with Second-Class Upper Division honors.
Shalindi has garnered All-Island awards for TV news reading, Radio News reading, and Public Speaking in the Sri Lanka Festival of Music and Speech affiliated with the British & International Federation. She has worked as a TV personality and was a Finalist in the all-island interuniversity speech competition “Best Speaker” in 2019.Her scholarly contributions include research on Intellectual Property Rights for Performing Artists and the Violation of International Law in Crimea, the latter earning her the Best Presenter accolade at the 2021 International Students’ Symposium at the University of Kelaniya.
Her research focuses on Intellectual Property, Business Law, E-commerce, International Relations, and International Humanitarian Law. She has been prominently featured on television and her articles have been published in magazines related to Female leaders in the society. She is also an All-Island award winner in public speaking.
