Lakmali Bhagya Manamperi holds an LL.M in Constitutional Law from the University of Lucknow, India, awarded under the Maulana Azad Scholarship program. She earned her LL.B. from the Open University of Sri Lanka and her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
Lakmali currently serves as the Module Leader for final-year subjects such as Private International Law and Jurisprudence and is also a Final Year Dissertation Supervisor. Her primary areas of interest are International Law, International Human Rights Law and Jurisprudence.
Her passion for legal research has deepened through years of experience and she is the Pillar Leader of the APIIT Lab Pillar; the research arm dedicated towards fostering a research culture at APIIT.
