Dasun Ratnayake works as a lecturer at the Business School of Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology and specializing in the field of Accountancy and Strategic Management.
Before Joining APIIT Dasun served as a dedicated academic for six years in the Business Management Departments of several universities. His research focuses on environmental sustainability reporting practices, particularly within the Sri Lankan Hotel sector and on improving various aspects of the Sri Lanka Police service including stress reduction of police officers, enhancing the corporate reputation of the Sri Lanka Police, job satisfaction and innovation among Police officers.
Dasun frequently contributes to the entrepreneurial development programmes and has served as a panelist for selecting the best entrepreneur in the Central province 2024 organized by the Enterprise Development Department. He has a strong passion for Business Management and is dedicated to student development while upholding values such as empathy, equality and integrity.
