A dynamic educator with a passion for empowering learners to master the English language and hone their academic writing prowess, Zahra joins APIIT as an English Language lecturer. She holds an MBA from the University of West London and a B.A. from the University of Bangalore majoring in English, Psychology and Sociology. She has also achieved the world’s most widely recognized English teaching qualification – CELTA from Cambridge University.
With over 12 years of experience as an educator, Zahra has been on the academic staff of some of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Sri Lanka. She specializes in preparing professionals for examinations such as IELTS, OET, and TKT, and has crafted comprehensive curricula for courses including Diploma in English and English as a Second Language (ESL). She has also taught at leading institutes affiliated with Universities in Australia, focusing on areas such as Academic Writing, Communication Skills, and Business Communication.
