Shiranaaz is a double accountant, marketing professional from the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and holds an MBA from Edith Cowan University Australia
Starting her career at Ernst & Young she moved to the leading qualitative research agency Quantum Research where she started her marketing career handling many leading MNC and local brands.
She went on to work at British American Tobacco in research and brands and handled their flagship global brand John Player’s Gold Leaf and thereafter was recruited to UNILEVER where she handled Foods, Hair Care and Baby Care categories and worked on many Regional Category Teams & Projects across Asia.
Shiranaaz then moved to Sri Lankan Blue Chip company Hemas Consumer for Baby Cheramy where she developed the category and doubled the business with a long term strategic direction.
A recipient of the 2014 World Bank (IFC)-WIM Marketing Professional award she joined the Maharajah Group as the Marketing Director for S-Lon, PE Plus and ICL brands for transformative growth.
She currently holds the position of COO at Indian Microsoft AI Company Clootrack Software Labs for Maldives & Pakistan.
Training and lecturing is her passion and she has over 8000 hours of teaching experience for Masters degrees, CIM & CIMA with exposure for International Training in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh.
Shiranaaz, has worked at the national level by being a Board Consultant to the Handicraft Board of Sri Lanka, UNDP funded Consultant for the Central Province Tourism Master Plan & Carrying Capacity Assessment for Sigiriya, EU funded Uva Province Tourism Master Plan, and AusAid funded S4IG Tourism Plan for Government of Sri Lanka.
