Isurinie Anuradha Mallawaarachchi has a diverse academic and creative background. Holding a Masters in English Language Studies from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Arts (Special) in English from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, she showcases a deep commitment to linguistic studies. Additionally, she is qualified as an Attorney in Sri Lanka. Beyond academia, Isurinie is a bilingual poet, having published two collections in Sri Lankan English. Her debut work, ‘Flowers Teach Me to Let Go,’ received acclaim and was shortlisted for the prestigious 2022 Gratiaen Prize. Isurinie is currently pursuing her second Masters in Human Rights and Democratisation.
