Thakshala Vaseekaran is a Law graduate from the University of Staffordshire and currently working as a Legal Researcher under a senior lawyer in Colombo. With hands-on experience in legal drafting and a keen interest in developing practical expertise in the application of law, she is dedicated to building a career in legal practice. Thakshala’s experience includes a legal internship at HNB Bank Private Limited, where she gained insights into banking and financial regulations. She has represented APIIT at several Debate competitions, and is passionate about law, research, and contributing to the legal field, with interests in areas of law such as property law, corporate law and human rights. As a keen writer and researcher, Thakshala continues to explore opportunities in legal research and practice. In 2025 she joined the APIIT Alumni Association to connect with fellow law graduates and grow within the legal community.
