The APIIT Law School International Negotiation Competition (ALSINC) stands as the pioneer of Sri Lanka’s only International Negotiation Competition, dedicated to elevating global negotiation standards. 

The inaugural and second editions of ALSINC concluded successfully in September 2021 with 15 teams, and in August 2022 with 18 teams, respectively. ALSINC, which initially began as an online competition, gradually transitioned to a hybrid format by 2023 for its 3rd edition. This approach accommodated over 20 teams, highlighting the flexibility, accessibility, and inclusivity of the said edition for both expert assessors and participants. 

ALSINC is more than just a competition; it is an immersive journey designed to empower participants. From educational webinars to networking and cultural events, ALSINC incorporates a diverse range of features to actively engage its participants and professionals, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all.

This year, the 4th edition (ALSINC 2024) returned, bigger and better, providing an unparalleled experience from August 26th to August 30th with the participation of negotiators from across the globe.

Best Opening Statement was awarded to OP Jindal Global University – Team A, Best Teamwork Between Client and Counsel was awarded to University of Colombo, WNI Best Negotiation Strategy was awarded to West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences – Team B, Best Acknowledgement of Cultural Differences was awarded to OP Jindal Global University – Team B, Best Creative Solution Generation was awarded to Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, Swansea University, UDecide Spirit of the Competition was awarded to Sri Lanka Law College and Best Debutant Team was awarded to National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.
