The APIIT Law School International Negotiation Competition (ALSINC) is organised by the Moot, Debate and Mock Mediation Society of APIIT Law School, Colombo.
Established in 2021, the competition has grown from an online initiative during the COVID-19 period into a hybrid international platform bringing together teams and assessors from around the world.
ALSINC continues to evolve while keeping practical negotiation, international participation and professional assessment at its core.
The first two editions were conducted online in response to COVID-19, opening the competition to cross-border participation from the outset.
From 2023, ALSINC introduced a hybrid format, combining international accessibility with the energy of an in-person legal competition in Colombo.
The 6th edition welcomes 28 teams from six countries, alongside assessors travelling to Sri Lanka to evaluate the next generation of negotiators.

Teams from Sri Lanka, India, the United Kingdom, Nepal, Kenya and Singapore make the sixth edition the largest ALSINC to date.
