Samaa Shazuli

General Secretary - APIIT Alumni Association

Samaa Shazuli is a graduate in Law from the University of Staffordshire and currently serves as a Lecturer in the APIIT Law Foundation Program in addition to her role as a Business Development Executive at APIIT Sri Lanka. She currently pursues a Master’s degree in Human Rights at the University of Colombo and is a student at Sri Lanka Law College, working towards becoming an Attorney-at-Law in the country. She is an IMI-Qualified Mediator and has represented APIIT at several national and international Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) events. Alongside her multiple roles, Samaa also works as a Legal Assistant at a private law chamber in Colombo. Beyond academia, she is a passionate writer and researcher, having served as the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of The Catalyst, the student media club of APIIT, during her undergraduate years.

Samaa joined the APIIT Alumni Association with a strong belief in the power of uniting alumni to create meaningful impact within the APIIT community, and seeking the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow alongside fellow alumni across different batches and disciplines.
