Qatar Airways, Country Manager - Sri Lanka & Maldives
Jonathan was appointed as the Country Manager for Qatar Airways in Sri Lanka and Maldives back in 2021. His portfolio holds 21 years of experience in Airline Sales and Operations, in both Passenger & Cargo fields. Hailing from St. Peter's College, Jonathan began his Airline career as a Management Trainee with Lufthansa Cargo (GSA – Delmege) back in 2003 and thereafter held various positions at Malaysia Airlines (GSA - Hemas) and Oman Air (GSA - Haylegs).
An MBA holder of the Cardiff Metropolitan University of Wales, Jonathan has been able to contribute his expertise to the travel & tourism industry in Sri Lanka, and especially contribute towards navigating in challenging times of post Covid 2020-2021, and a financial crisis stricken 2022.
