Holding a Ph.D. in Law from Brunel University London and an LLM in International Trade Law from the University of Wales Cardiff’s Institution, his academic journey reflects a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the intricacies of legal scholarship.

Dr. Warnasuriya's professional journey has seen him excel in various capacities, including his role as an Associate at Global Solicitors, Wembley in the United Kingdom. His practice in general commercial litigation encompasses a broad spectrum, showcasing his versatility and proficiency in navigating complex legal landscapes. Notably, his international experience extends to business and commercial negotiations across European countries, further enhancing his global perspective.

As an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, Dr. Warnasuriya brings over two decades of legal counsel experience to the table. His expertise lies prominently in Corporate and Commercial laws, with a special focus on international trade finance. His contributions to the legal community are not confined to his professional practice; he has also made significant strides in academia.

Dr. Warnasuriya is a seasoned LLM and Ph.D. supervisor and examiner in several prestigious universities, reflecting his commitment to nurturing the next generation of legal minds.
