Ms. Amaradiwakara is currently providing her leadership to the APIIT Student Support and Wellbeing Services Division that ensures student inclusion, diversity, equality, student voice, safety and student wellbeing during their studies at APIIT. Having completed her school education, Ms. Amaradiwakara holds her postgraduate education in Applied Psychology from Coventry University, UK, undergraduate education from University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, and is currently reading for her PhD in Psychology.
She is a Psychotherapist, a certified trainer and a life coach equipped to cater to the wellbeing needs of the university community. Her expertise involves providing psychotherapeutic and psychosocial support on various concerns and demeanours involved in multiple aspects of human behaviour. Some of her expertise involves CBT, REBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, Creative Arts Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy and Hypnotherapy. In addition to her service, she commits as an advocate for stray animal adoption and as the founder of Resolvers Club of Sri Lanka, a movement seeking to nurture future leaders.
