Ms. Shiranaaz Kaney
An outstanding marketing personality with 18 years of experience of working for top multinationals- British American Tobacco and Unilever in key brand marketing positions, grounded with a strong research experience at Quantum Research.
Shiranaaz then joined the top blue chip Hemas as the Category Manager for the flagship brand Baby Cheramy where she transformed the category. Thereafter she went on to become the Marketing Director of ICL Brands, the FMCG business and S-Lon & PE Plus the Hardware business of the Capital Maharajah Group and today is working for a top Artificial Intelligence company in the South Asian Region- Clootrack.
Academically a double accountant where she started her career at Pricewaterhousecoopers and Ernst & Young she is also an MBA graduate from Edith Cowan University in Australia and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).
A sought-after lecturer and trainer in Sri Lanka and in the South Asian region, Shiranaaz has over 8000 hours of teaching experience.
An award-winning recipient of the World Bank (IFC)-WIM Outstanding Career Professional Woman of Sri Lanka for the year 2014, she is an avid traveler, reader, an animal lover and her motto in life “If you keep your focus on track, nothing is out of reach!”
