Bandula Egodage is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in local and international business markets. He began his career at Nestl\u00e9, the world\u2019s largest food and beverage company, in 1986. Through exceptional business performance, strong people skills, expansive networks and deep local insight, he steadily rose through the ranks and is now Vice President of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs at Nestl\u00e9, with extensive experience across Public Affairs, Regulatory, Exports, Sales, Corporate Communications and Crisis Management.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Bandula has held prominent roles in both public and private sectors, including former Chairman of the Export Development Board, National Packaging Center and Development Holdings Pvt. Ltd, as well as former Director of the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Authority. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
Currently, Bandula serves as an Executive Member of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation), Director of Coconut Research Institute, Trade Finance & Investments PLC, and Ceyline Group, Chairman of the Industrial Association of Sri Lanka, Executive Member of the Sri Lanka Maldives Business Council, and Member of the Swiss Business Circle.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

He has a double degree in marketing, MBA and doctorate in business administration and is a Alumni of Harvard University. He\u202fis the only Sri Lankan to win the coveted \u2018 Rotary International People of action\u2019 award globally. <\/p>\r\n\r\n
Team leader for the UNDP funded Tourism projects \u2013 Central Province Master Plan, Sigiriya Carrying capacity study 2022-2027. He was also the team leader for the EU funded Uva province Tourism Master plan 2023-2028. He was appointed by the Government of Sri Lanka to develop the Strategic Plan 2024 for the University Grants Commission( UGC). <\/p>\r\n\r\n

Gamindu Hemachandra is the Chief Academic Officer and an Executive Director of APIIT Sri Lanka.<\/p>\r\n
Gamindu has 22 years of experience in higher education, which includes, over 14 years of teaching experience in Software Engineering, Software Design and Software Architecture. He has headed the School of Computing at APIIT, was the Deputy Director of the Local Technical Secretariat for APIIT, IRQUE (Improving Relevance & Quality of Undergraduate Education) Project by the World Bank, the Chair of the Academic Staff Development Committee at APIIT and the Head of Academic Development and Quality Enhancement at APIIT. He has been a resource person for the Higher Education for the Twentieth Century, World Bank Project of the Ministry of Higher Education Sri Lanka. He has been trained in quality assurance by the QAA, UK. Gamindu graduated with a First Class Honours in Physics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Gamindu is also the incumbent Hon.
